Psychological Testing

At Goodwin Psychological Services - GPS, PLLC, scheduling Psychological Testing has become simpler than ever before. Our personalized testing batteries provide patients with the resources they need to better understand behaviors, arrive at a diagnosis, and guide treatment — you’ll leave our clinic well informed and confident that your health is in good hands.

We now offer psychological testing for clients located in PSYPACT states via telehealth. These services are self-pay, with the exception of Tricare/Humana Military insurance. Currently, telehealth assessments are not available for IQ testing or achievement/academic testing. The provider will accept prior psychological testing to aid in the diagnosis of autism, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD.

Welcome to the page of GPS! I am Dr. Tanya Goodwin, a proud native of Hamlet, NC. I obtained my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2014. In addition to receiving scientific and professional training in clinical psychology, my educational training included a distinctive Christian approach to mental health.

I have over eight years of experience providing psychological evaluations and treatment. I provide evaluations for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and other behavioral and emotional concerns.

GPS welcomes individuals of all races, genders, religions, sexual orientations, etc. The goal of GPS is to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming environment to make your journey as comfortable as possible. I look forward to walking through this journey with you!
